I only played through to Stage 2 (so far), but I really enjoyed it. The glazed mechanic was a really cool idea and I love the music. It gave me Bubsy/Sonic vibes and reminded me a bit of Pizza Tower without the controls. My only complaint is the levels don't seem to be designed to reward going fast and, instead, only require speed as a way to progress to new areas. For example, several times I'd soar over a bunch of stuff I could've picked up if I'd been going slow. I think the fun of Sonic and Pizza Tower (for me at least) were the levels being designed to reward speed. I'm sure I'll be back though.
Good stuff it reminds me of Sonic. It has potential to be a great game. A few bugs, but that is part of game dev. At first it felt like AI , but after getting more background I understood you have been developing this games for years! Will you be continuing making games ?
Hi everyone, thanks for playing so far! Just wanted to let you all know that I've removed PC downloads of the game. Various errors were occurring and I can't find an easy fix. Once I've figured out the root cause I'll re-exort them. For now, please enjoy the browser version! Thank you for your patience, and enjoy the game! :)
Empty Present Box Report I have only recorded data for Worlds 4 and 5. If I play from World 6 onward, I plan to record more. 4-3 5-2 All boxes, including cupcakes, do not restore anything. 5-3 Two boxes inside breakable blocks near the middle of the stage. 5-EX The only box in the stage is empty. Additionally, the two closest boxes in the upper right and the cupcake in the lower right of the giant bird do not restore anything. 5-??? The box directly above the boss, in the center.
For the present boxes in 5-2, I checked my previous gameplay video, and they did have items inside. I was able to reach the high platform by using the shortcut from the runway in green donut form. Now, the shortcut is not possible, and no matter how many times I try, I can't reach the target time. So, it might be impossible to complete the time attack in the current version. Additionally, for some reason, in 5-2, touching enemy bananas and bird droppings does not cause damage (though rarely, it does)🐱
OMG I’m so sorry! I only thought there was maybe one that didn’t work in world 5! Which version were you playing? HTML, Windows, Mac or Linux? I might need to take them all down and do some thorough play testing again… something’s gone wrong!
thank you, I’ll try my best to fix it. Might need to re-program how the presents work, it only became a problem when I made the PC version… something’s strange! Appreciate the help though. I’ll make sure it’s all sorted soon!
I also forget the report about 5-EX. The goal for the Baby Donuts in this stage is 2, but if you include the ones dropped by the boss, there are 3. Collecting all of them results in -1, and the door closes. Just like before, this is on Windows v4.0! (The more I play, the more fun Super Donuts becomes! It’s my favorite game! 🐱)
Was a cool game! Handled well and was down right adorable! I only got through the first 2 worlds buy let me know if you all wanna see more! Left a follow and keep up the amazing work!
thank you! Banjo Kazooie definitely had a big influence on the game, replace the Jiggies with Sweets and the Jinjo’s with baby donuts! Glad you had fun! My back catalogue isn’t great… but you might like Quantum Shift, it’s the only other game I actually put much time into.
This is an amazing work that mixes a cute art style with super exciting action elements, making it an ultra-ultra-ultra thrilling and fun experience! Having multiple objectives within a single stage is great. Especially the goal of competing with the developer's time—it is super hard, but achieving it feels very rewarding! I played and streamed the game about two weeks ago. Unfortunately, the final stage got heavy, so I had to stop, but since I have lost my save data, I plan to start fresh with the downloaded version. I'm super excited, meow~! 🐱
Wow! Thank you for the stream! Glad you enjoyed it! I know the last few worlds have performance problems... Think I got a bit carried away! I hope the downloadable version works better for you... I might go back in the future and try to do some performance fixes too. Hope you enjoyed it, I'll check out the stream soon!
I'm currently replaying the PC version 4.0 and have cleared the Retro's Time Challenge up to World 2! It's so much fun! After clearing World 2-3, I tried to play World 2-Ex, but the stage info showed the score and time from 2-1 for some reason. However, after entering and exiting the stage once, the correct info was displayed. It might be a small detail, but I'm reporting it just in case, meow~! 🐈️
Thank you I am enjoying this game. I like the bouncy physics and catchy music for the levels. I am playing the linux version. I think someone wanted to see it on CRT which I still use for Wii and older games. I don't know how to take pictures without the flicker. You can use a steam deck to have controller support using the keyboard/wasd template. You can use a cheap HDMI2AV convertor to connect HDMI to Scart/AV cables.
OMG I can't believe that I have spend the past weekday , so many of my free time to play this game so much. This game is such a fun and engaging game with colorful sprite and monsters. The music is a nice choice as it is a chill and fun sound, really suit well with the level.
For the past 2-3 days I've been trying to beat the final level of the game but it seems like I can't because the game keeps crashing , at one point the whole just stops working and show the white error sceen. Even with a higher-end PC I can't seem to make it work. Suprisingly however, my low-end PC lasts longer with 5fps at the final level than the high-end one at the internet cafe for the crashing
Also It seems like that if I somehow reset fast enough at some point the level just went blank ?. It is unlikely to happen but doesn't affects me at all as you can just exit the level and try again
Overall, this game is fun, my only complaint is the last level and seems like only one person talked about that so I want to point it out myself too. I hope this gets fixed soon !!
Hey, I’m working on a fix this weekend! I’ve had a few people say the final level runs slowly… Stay tuned for a fix soon!! So glad you’ve been enjoying the rest of the game :)
that’s amazing! Try booting the HTML version back up now, it should be 3.8, I’ve reduced some of the effects in the final stage. - I've also updated the PC builds with the same fixes now too.
I played the Windows version through to 1-4 and beat the boss, but after defeating the boss, the game doesn't go any further. I have a big donut that was used to kill the boss, but nothing else. I can move the big donut around the screen but can't proceed to the exit....Only can quit the game back to the level select screen, and then I can proceed to the 2-1 level. (so obviously I beat it). Did I miss something to not be able to exit on the level 1-4 here?
that’s weird, it’s showing as donuts -1? Did you pick up the blue baby donut that drops when the boss is killed? Looks like somehow it counted it twice?? I’ll see if I can fix it by adding some code if donuts < 0, donuts = 0, then the exit should stay open if that glitch does occur…
Hi, should be fixed now! For some reason the PC builds were overwriting the number of donuts in the boss stages, resetting it back to 0 before it could calculate how many were meant to be displayed...
I want to add an exit button, and maybe a full screen / window toggle too and combine both the downloadable versions… it will take a while to update them all though.. glad you enjoyed the game anyway!
Great game, full of charm, love the names. I like the summary at the end of each level to gauge progress and see how you compare with the maker, Retro break. Congratulations.
The music is great too and the Physics feel right.
I found the game to be fun I am just not a PC gamer would this to be ported to a platform like GBA I think it would do well for of us who like playing on handheld emulation devices nice work regardless!
glad you enjoyed it! There is a possibility in the future for it to be ported to emulation handhelds natively! I’m going to start looking into it soon!
Roll around as a donut!! Awesome game! It's clear that so much thought was put into the art, levels, and music. I love rolling around and finding the baby donuts. I haven't beaten the game yet, but can't wait to play more!
I found your game through the Stencyl forums! I actually just released a game that was thought of in a very similar way. But instead of donuts...tacos hahah. From one food Stencyl game to another -- congrats on finishing your game!!
don’t think it’s possible with the way Stencyl works. But you can download something like this to map the keyboard to a controller. I did that for play testing and it worked great! https://joytokey.net/en/
did you also beat the time trial? They also add up the percentage. There’s 4 challenges per level, once you beat them all you’ll get a flag next to the stage that says 100%
Do you mean the brown dots? They are speed boosting chocolate balls, there’s yellow ones too which fly away as you go over them, but the brown ones stay in place. You can use them to help with the time trials :D good luck!
Awesome game - just finished the first world and I am absolutely hooked. I will be 100%ing this game for sure :D Well done Nick, you did an amazing job with this!
Can you make Native Linux and Android versions please? I'm from the Portmaster Community and I'd love to expose your game to a wider array of gamers. Plus this would be a great game for Portmaster too. 🥺
I might be able to export a Linux build… I’ll need to buy the licence for Stencyl first, might look into it next week, I’ve also had people asking for Windows and Mac versions too… Feel free to distribute the game anywhere, happy for more people to be able to play it!

glad you enjoyed it so far! It’s not meant to be a fast game, it’s more of a collecting / hide and seek game finding the baby donuts
That's fair. I think it's the needing momentum to get over obstacles that made me expect it to play more like a fast game. Either way, it's super fun!
i reloaded in quick succession and the player character disappeared, camera doesn't pan, timer keeps going up
this should be fixed in the next update, I’m working on a bunch of different issues :)
Good stuff it reminds me of Sonic. It has potential to be a great game. A few bugs, but that is part of game dev. At first it felt like AI , but after getting more background I understood you have been developing this games for years! Will you be continuing making games ?
Thanks I think.. not sure what makes it feel like AI? Yes I'll try to make another game soon! I have a lot of ideas :D
This is pretty sweet! It makes me wonder how it would do as a mobile game...
I might try making a mobile port if there's enough interest :)

It's Super Donuts Windows v4.0!

Thank you, author, for sharing such a fantastic game
Was a cool game! Handled well and was down right adorable! I only got through the first 2 worlds buy let me know if you all wanna see more! Left a follow and keep up the amazing work!
Looks like you had fun so far! Thanks for playing! :D Sounds like your dogs enjoyed it too haha
Yah my daughter walked in and the dog was acting like a baby because she couldn't get to her at that second 😂
Amazing game thank you !

Thank you so much, I can't wait to check it out again.
Btw, I have setup a speedrun page for the game, hope you can check it out:

thanks! I will download the update soon and give it another go!
Great game - physics and control is great.
One comment on the Mac version is that there is no way to quit the game except Mac-Q keyboard. For PC is the same issue - only ALT-F4 to quit.
Can you add an exit game option to the main title screen that actually quits the program?
Other than that, really happy to see you release the game after a long development. I love watching your YouTube channel too. Well done mate!
I want to add an exit button, and maybe a full screen / window toggle too and combine both the downloadable versions… it will take a while to update them all though.. glad you enjoyed the game anyway!
I've just created a new options menu that includes a "quit to desktop" button, and a full screen / window toggle :)
Excellent! Thanks for this.
i played it with CRT a bit and it is fun. I love the music too. Great stuff buddy, i wish i could show you how it looks on CRT.
That's awesome! You can upload images here if you want to show me! Or find my email / bluesky links on my website :)
Great game, full of charm, love the names. I like the summary at the end of each level to gauge progress and see how you compare with the maker, Retro break. Congratulations. The music is great too and the Physics feel right.
Enjoying it! Reminds me a little of Superfrog/PC platformers with a ton of Zool candy!
I found the game to be fun I am just not a PC gamer would this to be ported to a platform like GBA I think it would do well for of us who like playing on handheld emulation devices nice work regardless!

Thanks! Good to meet another Stencyl dev, Good luck with your game too. :)
Gonna play more after work, fun game !
Awesome
Super fun!!!
Will this ever have controller support?
don’t think it’s possible with the way Stencyl works. But you can download something like this to map the keyboard to a controller. I did that for play testing and it worked great! https://joytokey.net/en/
nice game
Will there be a downloadable version in the future? This game well runs 98% of the time but I'd like to try this on PC. With an exportable save too.
yes there will be in the future. Need to sort out the licence fee to be able to export it first..
Hi, the PC build is available now!
What does the "75% complete" mean? I found all the sweets, including the secret one.
did you also beat the time trial? They also add up the percentage. There’s 4 challenges per level, once you beat them all you’ll get a flag next to the stage that says 100%
Thanks! I do see that in the game description.
Now I need to find out what the 3 dots in level 2-1 are
and how to go up past the Exit door.Do you mean the brown dots? They are speed boosting chocolate balls, there’s yellow ones too which fly away as you go over them, but the brown ones stay in place. You can use them to help with the time trials :D good luck!
Amazing job, I would absolutely pay for a version to download on Mac!
thank you! I’ll add a Mac export soon once I’ve sorted the licence out
Mac download is out now! :D
This game takes me back to the days of classic Apogee games, but with its own twists. Very fun game!
(it also got me to try out Stencyl for myself!)
thanks, glad you enjoyed it! Good luck with your game dev too if you decide to make something in Stencyl!
Awesome game - just finished the first world and I am absolutely hooked. I will be 100%ing this game for sure :D Well done Nick, you did an amazing job with this!
I would absolutely buy this on Switch. It would be a perfect match. Thanks for this labour of love, I'm sure i'll enjoy it.
Can you make Native Linux and Android versions please? I'm from the Portmaster Community and I'd love to expose your game to a wider array of gamers. Plus this would be a great game for Portmaster too. 🥺
Yes please! This was the first thing I thought when I watched your YouTube video. I'd love to have this on my TrimUI Brick!
I might be able to export a Linux build… I’ll need to buy the licence for Stencyl first, might look into it next week, I’ve also had people asking for Windows and Mac versions too… Feel free to distribute the game anywhere, happy for more people to be able to play it!
Hi, I've uploaded a linux build now! Let me know if that works for you! :D
I've just updated the Linux build with some bug fixes.
🙂👍 Thank You!
