Dev notes:
Back again for the GMTK game jam for a second time! I used the time to learn how to use Godot. I've been making lots of notes and feel I have a much better understanding of the engine and the GDScript language now!
I'm a bit worried the game might be a bit difficult to understand for someone who doesn't know how the mechanics work, and I would have liked to add some more levels, and the shop system.
The concept for this game changed a lot from the first day. I was planning to have a physics based game where you grab ribbons and loop them around pegs to make a race track thing... it was far too complicated, so I changed it to this flying game instead, with some help from my fiancé in the concept department!
I booked the Thursday and Friday off work so I could focus on the Jam for the whole four days. I really enjoyed being able to dedicate my time to game dev! It felt great and I'm really proud of what I managed to accomplish in a short time, and with very limited knowledge of the engine!
Hope you all enjoy, let me know what you think in the comments!
